 Motivated by the demands of food safety and personalized nutrition, and based on foodomics and human health data, the FSC is currently focusing on three research themes

    Foodomics combines food, analytical omics techniques, and bioinformatics, generating a wide spectrum of food-related omics (such as genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics) data. We envision that these foodomics data (all data collected “from farm to table”) will revolutionize our approaches to the pressing issues in food biodiversity, safety, quality, and traceability.
