Tenure-track PI at Food Science Center of AGIS, doctoral supervisor. Focusing on the major national needs in the areas of Big Health and Precision Nutrition, centered on the “Mechanistic Dissection of Chronic Disease Risk via Precision and Systematic Approaches”, developed multidimensional health and nutrition big data mining methods by integrating cross-disciplinary approaches such as Natural Language Processing, Systems Biology, and Process Control. Published research articles as the first/corresponding (including co-) author in journals such as Nature (2025, cover story), Nature Computational Science (2023), Nature Communications (2022, 2019), iMeta (2025); applied for 2 patents, and obtained 9 software copyrights. He has been selected for Major National Talent Projects (Youth Category), High-Level Talent Programs by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and the Guangdong Province Pearl River Talent Program. He has led major research projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation, and serves as a committee member of the Chinese Society for Computational Biology and Bioinformatics, as well as an editorial board member of the “China Food and Nutrition” journal.
